On January 9, 2025, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky issued a final decision in Tennessee v. Cardona that vacated the 2024 Title IX Regulations, which took effect as of August 1, 2024. The decision finalized a temporary order put in place over the summer that had subjected many colleges and universities throughout the United States to uncertainty about the applicability of the 2024 Title IX Regulations.

With this new decision, many Title IX legal experts have concluded that the 2024 Title IX regulations are no longer in effect and unenforceable at all schools. The Department of Education has not issued a response (as of January 13th).

Vector Solutions has scheduled a brief update on Title IX to address these questions.

Please join us to discuss the impact of this decision. The webinar will address the following:

  • The legal and regulatory status of the 2024 Title IX Regulations following the Tennessee v. Cardona decision.
  • Steps educational institutions should take if the institution put the 2024 Title IX Regulations in place.
  • Steps educational institutions should take if the institution did NOT put the 2024 Title IX Regulations in place.
  • Changes that must take place in your institutions right away in relation to policies, procedures, investigations, outcomes, etc.

The presenter will answer specific questions you may have about the changes as time permits. Please submit your questions here.
