Laboratory Safety

This course looks at the hazards that are found within the laboratory and some ways to protect lab workers from those hazards. Also included is an overview of the OSHA Lab Standard, the elements of a Chemical Hygiene Plan, and some of the basic rules of good chemical hygiene. Chemical storage requirements and some general procedures to follow in case of an emergency are also covered.
