Tammy Hodo is a visiting assistant sociology professor at the University of North Florida where she teaches courses on racial and ethnic minorities, as well as sociology and research methods. She uses critical race theory as the framework for her research. Her teaching and research focus on the experiences of minorities in academia "both faculty and students" specifically at predominantly white institutions.
